Travel
The Faculty of Medicine Travelling Fellowships are intended to help defray expenses incurred by travelling overseas or interstate for the purpose of postgraduate study or research.
- Eligibility: Applicants must hold a degree from the Faculty of Medicine, or another Faculty of the University of Sydney. Candidates for a higher degree in Medicine and current staff (including conjoint and title holders) are invited to apply.
- Value: Awards are offered up to a maximum of $5,000 but are normally between $2,000 and $3,000. The number of Fellowships offered and the value of the Fellowships shall be determined by the Faculty of Medicine depending on funds available.
- Further information: Successful applicants are not permitted to apply for another Travelling Fellowship within twelve months of being awarded their initial award. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Research Committee of the Faculty of Medicine. Please ensure the Head of School (not Head of Department) approves the application, prior to formally submitting the application to the Faculty Office.
