Honours Scholarship

Merit-based honours scholarships will be available in 2008 to students undertaking honours in the BSc or BMedSc degree, who undertake their Honours project within a Discipline or School of the Faculty of Medicine:

• Anatomy & Histology
• Pathology
• Pharmacology
• Physiology
• Infectious Diseases & Immunology

The SCIWAM calculated by the Faculty of Science will be used to determine the level of scholarship awarded:

• a student with a SCIWAM of 75 to 79.99 will receive a scholarship of $1,500
• a student with a SCIWAM of 80 or greater will receive a scholarship of $3,000

Note: Students who are awarded an University Honours Scholarship, of equal or greater value than a Faculty of Medicine Honours Scholarship, will not be eligible to receive a Faculty of Medicine Honours Scholarship.
