Sydney Cancer Centre
The Sydney Cancer Centre is at the forefront of cancer treatment and research in Australia. We are based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, have facilities at Concord Hospital, and provide outreach services to Dubbo Base Hospital. We are part of Sydney South West Area Health Service and work closely with the University of Sydney.
The Sydney Cancer Centre and its affiliates at the University of Sydney and Centenary Institute for Cancer Medicine and Cell Biology host leading research programs in:
- cancer drug resistance
- cancer genetics
- gene therapy, and
- a wide range of clinical research and trials.
Our aim is to integrate new research findings and innovative treatments into patient care as quickly as possible – providing hope to cancer patients by improving cure rates and quality of life.
