Faculty of Medicine Research Infrastructure (Major Equipment) Scheme 2008

This scheme is for funding in 2009. The Faculty of Medicine is calling for research infrastructure proposals which can encompass items of research equipment and related building works costing $50,000 or more.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate how the project will achieve productivity gains and preference will be given to applications which leverage external funding.
The applicant and relevant School or Precinct will be expected to contribute a minimum of 25% of the total GST-exclusive cost. In assessing the applications consideration will be given to the strategic value of the equipment proposed, its accessibility to users not in the applicant group and to the extent that contributions from external funds further decrease the Faculty’s contribution.
