Dean’s Research Student Publication Prize 2009

The Dean of the Sydney Medical School awards a prize to the student who published the best research paper in a peer-reviewed journal in the previous year.

The award is up to $500 cash plus $500 towards meeting registration or travel expenses to enable the student to present their research at a scientific meeting. They will be awarded to the best article by postgraduate or honours student enrolled through Sydney Medical School.

The purpose of these prizes is to encourage students to publish their research and to assist and encourage them to participate in scientific meetings early in their research careers.

Applications for this prize are now closed for 2008 publications.

Outcomes

There were two winner of this prize for publications published or accepted in 2008:
