Biographical details
Tim Usherwood is Professor and Head of the Department of General Practice, Sydney Medical School - Western. His clinical practice is at a community-controlled Aboriginal medical service in western Sydney. Professor Usherwood's research interests focus on the evaluation of complex interventions to improve health outcomes in primary care. He has undertaken a wide variety of research projects in community settings in both Australia and the UK and has published more than 60 refereed research papers. He has also published a large number of other articles and books. He is currently a Chief Investigator on three NHMRC-funded research projects and a variety of other studies using a range of quantitative, qualitative and mixed research methods. [More...]
