Research interests

Rola's PhD research explored how experienced practitioners learned to reason and learn to communicate their reasoning in professional practice. She is also conducting research in inter-professional learning in PBLs between medical and dental students and also medical and pharmacy students. Her current research is investigating the learning needs of GP registrars for quality prescribing. Her research interests include: clinical reasoning, professionalism, workplace learning, and learning and teaching of clinical reasoning.
