Libraries and learning resources
Within the University of Sydney Library System there are a number of libraries that support disciplines related to Health and Medical Sciences.
The libraries that best support the Medical Sciences are: The Burkitt-Ford library located on campus in the Ford building (A27) and the Medical Library also located on campus in the Bosch building (DO5).
The Burkitt-Ford library supports the areas of Anatomy, Physiology and pre-clinical medicine in general as well as a comprehensive coverage of Public Health.
The Medical Library covers the fields of clinical medicine, surgery, pathology, infectious diseases, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, pharmacology, anaesthesia, ophthalmology, psychiatry and immunology.
The library website gives access to different services, to major databases and to over a thousand electronic journals. Students have access to the vast array of online and printed textbooks through the library system in addition to a core set of textbooks stored in every tutorial room.
Each of the Clinical Schools provide separate library and IT facilities to support students throughout their study in the hospital setting.

The website includes - All course materials including interactive PBLs and online assessment, a bulletin for student announcements, live timetables, feedback forums, email, school staff contacts, school policies and links to external resources.

Anatomy and Pathology museums
The Wilson Museum and Henle Collection house the Department of Anatomy and Histology's historic specimens. Students can view the prosections "in the flesh" or navigate the online Wilson Museum (password protected).
The Department of Pathology also has its own museum (also online), providing a valuable resource for learning..
