As well as your course fees, you will need to consider the cost of text books and any required materials. Text books may cost from $250 to $600 per year, depending on your course.

Student union and association subscriptions
The representation and services provided to all postgraduate students by the student organisations of the University of Sydney are funded through student subscriptions. Subscriptions can be paid directly to the union or association.
SUPRA
The Sydney University Postgraduate Representative Association (SUPRA) provides academic and welfare advice, policy research, campaigns, advocacy and functions/networks. Services are available free to subscribers, and subscription is free to enrolled postgraduate students. Subscribers may also choose to support the association through a payment of $20 to $80.
University of Sydney Union
The University of Sydney Union (USU) provides a wide range of essential campus services, catering, child care and more. Holders of the USU Access Card receive discounts on many on- and off-campus amenities.
Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness
Membership of Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness entitles you to use facilities such as the pool and gymnasium, participate in all sport and recreational activities, as well as become a member of any of the 42 registered clubs at members' rates.
