How to apply for postgraduate study

There are several steps you need to take before you start postgraduate study in the Sydney Medical School.

• First, you need to apply for the program you wish to enter.
• Then, if you are offered a place, you need to confirm your acceptance of the place. If the offer is conditional, you need to fulfill the conditions in order to receive a firm offer of place.
• Finally, you need to formally enrol in the course of study, usually in person at Camperdown Campus.

There are different documents required for applications to coursework and to research degrees.

Local students apply directly to Sydney Medical School postgraduate student administration unit.

International students apply via the University's International Office (unless applying for a coursework program by distance learning).
