Our strengths
In any of the rotations offered to third and fourth year students, you will be given clinical exposure not available to students in city teaching hospitals.
Teaching facilities are excellent, with lecture materials being supplemented with video-conferencing from Sydney, enthusiastic medical and surgical teams to involve you in daily clinical activities, and academic staff who are particularly supportive of students in their endeavours.
Dubbo's clinical school social environment is excellent. You will work with a close group of mates and be sure to leave in fourth year with fantastic memories.

In third year, you will have four months of integrated clinical attachments in which you can choose to do four of the following:
- Orthopaedics
- General Medicine
- Geriatrics
- Emergency medicine/anaesthetics
- Renal medicine
- General surgery
Rotations
Fourth year offers two of your compulsory nine week rotations to choose from, including:
- Perinatal and Women’s Health
- Child and Adolescent Health
- Community Medicine
- Psychological Medicine
