Clinical school allocation
Applicants are expected to research and contact various clinical schools to help them decide on their clinical school preferences.
To support this, information on various clinical schools is provided on these "Clinical experience" web pages and also mailed out with invitations to the Medical Program Selection Interviews.
Applicants select their clinical school preferences when making an online booking for their interview. Once bookings have closed, no changes can be made to clinical school preferences.
It is strongly advised that applicants research and contact the clinical schools prior to being offered an interview so that they do not have to delay making an interview booking.
Applicants are able to seek special consideration if they have extremely strong reasons why they prefer a particular clinical school.
While making an offer of a medical place, the faculty office will take into account preferences and special consideration factors before making clinical school allocations.
In accepting a place in the medical program, the applicant is also accepting the allocated clinical school placement.
