Rural origin applicants
Facilitated entry is available for applicants who identify as being of rural origin. Eligible applicants are considered on a case by case basis. Rural origin is defined as: an individual having resided (according to principal home address) in a rural area in Australia (RRMA 3-7) for at least five years (consecutive or cumulative) from commencement of primary school.

Facilitated entry may be offered conditional on the production of one of the following forms of proof of rurality.
- Letter of support from local minister of religion, doctor, school Principal or other appropriate person as approved by the Faculty (no family members). The letter will also include current contact details.
- School records (if you are experiencing difficulties securing this documentation please contact the Admissions Office).

All applications for the Medical Program are handled by the Australian Council for Educational Research (see ACER contact details) and must be submitted to ACER.
Applicants MUST submit original supporting document(s) at the time of applications. Otherwise applications will be processed as standard applications and not via the Rural Facilitated Entry scheme.
Up to 10 places will be offered to Bachelor of Clinical Science (BClinSc) graduates from Charles Sturt University who meet the facilitated entry requirements.
