Research Committee

The Faculty of Medicine Research Committee advises the Dean and the Faculty on research policy, priorities and strategies and organises their implementation through standing committees or task-specific working parties.

The Committee also provides advice to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) and receives advice from standing committees and working groups. It implements policies of the Faculty and the University through standing committees, working groups, and the Faculty IT Committee. The Committee also assists the Board of Postgraduate Studies of the Faculties of Dentistry, Medicine and Pharmacy in the management and support of postgraduate research students.
