Overview
The School of Public Health comprises a network of individuals, research groups and centres that offer a wide range of educational and research opportunities. In addition to core academic staff based at the main University campus and Western Clinical School at Westmead Hospital, the School also includes several associated research centres.

The core academic staff of the School are supported by colleagues working in the health system who hold associate, clinical, conjoint or adjunct academic titles within the School. Taken together, such a broadly based, and research active academic faculty provides a substantial resource for our students.
Facilities
The University Library has a specialist public health branch [the Burkitt-Ford library] in the public health building. This library holds an extensive collection of public health books and journals. The School is well equipped with over 20 networked PC computers with a wide range of word processing, spreadsheet and statistical software. Both these facilities are available to students enrolled in the School and are open four evenings a week during teaching weeks for the benefit of part-time students.
